Since its release in March, Philip La Rosa’s debut single, “Pride’, has racked up over 30,000 plays on Spotify. Now, Philip releases the powerful accompanying music video, sending a clear message for acceptance, love, and pride to the world.

Directed and written by Jacqueline Pelczar, and produced and edited by Elaine Smith, the Pride music video shows the stories of five people moving through a journey of self-discovery.

Beginning with dark scenes of doubtfulness and fear, the stories progress with depictions of struggle, strength, and finally – self-acceptance. As colours light up the space, the characters unite and find joy in who they are, individually and as a whole.

“I just hope that the video helps at least one person with whatever they’re struggling with and know that they are strong, powerful and should be full of pride,” says Philip.
